1960年秋田県生まれ。
東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科日本画専攻卒業。
芸術における生態系の構造を模索しながら、素材や制作方法や場をサイトスペシフィックに拡張し、人間中心的な近代の価値観に強い遠心力をかけて芸術の問い直しを試みている。
2015年「根源的暴力」神奈川県民ホール、2018年「Fur Story」リーズアーツ大学、「ハンターギャザラー」秋田県立近代美術館ほかにて個展多数。
瀬戸内国際芸術祭2019ほかにてグループ展多数。
Born in Akita in 1960.
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, majored in Nihonga.
Searching for an ecosystemic structure to the art while expanding the idea of site-specific materials and methods, all the while applying centrifugal force on the modern homocentric values to question art itself.
Held numerous solo exhibitions including “Primordial Violence,” Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, 2015, “Fur Story,” Leeds Arts University, 2018, “Hunter Gatherer,” 2018. Participated to various group exhibitions including “Setouchi Triennale,” 2019.
