大阪府岸和田生まれ。
文化服飾学院デザイン科在学中、新人デザイナーの登竜門といわれる装苑賞を最年少の19歳で受賞。
京を拠点として、海外では1978年から2000年までパリコレクション参加。
85年北京、90年NY（メトロポリタン美術館）、94年ベトナム、96年キューバ、99年ポーランド、09年ミャンマーなど世界各地にてショーを開催。
Born in Kisiwada city, Osaka.
Whilst she was astudent of a Design Course at Bunka Fashion College, she received the SO-EN Award, Known as the gateway award to success for a new fashion designer.
She was only 19 years old and the youngest winner of the award.
She was based in Tokyo and participated in the Paris Collection from 1978 to 2000.
She also held fashion show all over the world, such as Beijing in 1985, New York (Metropolitan Museum) in 1990, Vietnam in 1994, Cuba in 1996, Poland in 1997 and Myanmar in 2009.
