対談：大林剛郎×高根枝里
世界有数のアートフェア・オーガナイザーであるアート・アセンブリーが新たな国際アートフェアとして、今年7月に横浜国際平和会議場（パシフィコ横浜）で開催する「Tokyo Gendai」。その全貌について、同フェアのディレクター高根枝里氏と、アドバイザリーボードを務める株式会社大林組 取締役会長 大林剛郎氏に話を聞いた。
“Tokyo Gendai” will be held at PACIFICO Yokohama this July as a new international art fair by the Art Assembly, one of the world’s leading art fair organizers. We spoke with the fair’s director, Eri Takane, and the advisory board member, Takeo Obayashi, the Chairman of the Obayashi Corporation,to get a full overview of the fair.

1954年東京都生まれ。1977年慶應義塾大学経済学部卒業。1980年スタンフォード大学工学部大学院卒業。2009年株式会社大林組 代表取締役会長 就任。2023年同 取締役会長兼取締役会議長 就任。2015年レジオン･ドヌール勲章受章、2021年文化庁長官表彰。公益財団法人大林財団理事長。森美術館理事、原美術館評議員、パリ・ポンピドゥー・センター日本友の会代表、英国テート美術館およびニューヨーク近代美術館 インターナショナル・カウンシル・メンバー。
高根枝里 プロフィール
1984年東京都生まれ。2009年ハンター大学教養学部心理学学科卒業。2012年ニューヨーク大学大学院アートマネジメント学科修了。国際交流基金ニューヨーク日本文化センター勤務を経て、セゾンアートギャラリー アートディレクター、Google Arts & Culture 日本部門を担当。Tokyo Gendaiフェアディレクター。
Takeo OBAYASHI Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1954. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University in 1977. Studied at the Graduate School of Engineering at Stanford University in 1980.The chairman of Obayashi Corporation from 2009. Received the The National Order of the Legion of Honour in 2015. Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award in 2021.Board Chairman of the Obayashi Foundation. Director of the Mori Art Museum. Trustee of the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art,President of the Japanese Friends of Centre Pompidou in Paris.Member of Tate’s International Council Executive Committee.Council member of New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
Eri TAKANE Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1984. Graduated from Hunter College, Department of Psycology in 2009. New York University, Visual Arts Administration in 2012.After working at The Japan Foundation in New York, worked as the Art Director of Saison Art Gallery and in charge of the Japan division of Google Arts & Culture.The Fair Director of Tokyo Gendai.
