1955 年兵庫県生まれ。
京都市立芸術大学日本画専攻科（現大学院）修了。
京都市立芸術大学客員教授。
春季創画展 春季展賞、東京セントラル美術館日本画展 佳作賞、川端龍子大賞展大賞、山種美術館日本画大賞展、京都文化賞奨励賞（海外研修）、タカシマヤ美術賞受賞、京都市芸術新人賞、京都府文化賞功労賞、京都美術賞など受賞多数。

Obtained MFA in Japanese Painting from Kyoto City University of Arts.
Visiting professor of Kyoto City University of Arts. Awarded with many awards such as Shunkiten Award at the Spring Soga Exhibition, Honorable mention at the Tokyo Central Museum, Nihonga Grand Prix at the Kawabata Ryushi Grand Prix Exhibition, Nihonga Grand Prix at the Yamatane Museum Exhibition.
