東京藝大美術学部専攻科（油画）修了。
独立賞、第１回昭和会賞、芸術選奨文部大臣賞、紺綬褒章、安田火災東郷青児美術館大賞、日本藝術院賞など受賞多数。
独立美術協会会員。

Completes post-graduate course at Tokyo University of the Arts (oil painting).
Award: the DOKURITSU prize, the 1st Showa-kai prize, the Ministry of Education Award for Fine Arts, the Konju-hosho, the Grand prize of the Togo Seiji Muse, the Japanese Art Academy prize and many other prizes.
Member of DOKURITSU BIJUTSU Association.
